Mozu · Broom design study

A more natural grip.

Compare the broom proportions, rounded bristles and holding direction on the same Sweep33 action. Check the full movement from six views, then turn the two work poses through 360°.

Both figures play and seek together. The original body, face, feet and arm motion stay identical throughout this comparison.

Shorter reach

Grip-to-tip distance drops from 1.09 to 0.74 scene units. The shaft stands closer to vertical and the hand holds a compact broom.

A rounded fan

A 0.51 wide, 0.19 deep bristle fan keeps visible thickness from the side. Shaft, collar and bristles share the same contact frame.

A distal grip

The attachment sits farther into the original hand. Its heading follows the sweep, while every character vertex keeps the existing performance.

Turn the grip through 360°

Drag the angle slider or play the orbit. Each image comes from the same native 3D scene at a fixed action time.

Design trials · length, thickness and direction

The earlier trials explain why changing length alone did not resolve the grip. The selected design is identified in the report.
